With an Environmental Science degree in hand from the University of Northern Iowa, and a love for beer (especially With Pride), Rachel joins our SingleSpeed team.
Rachel will be working as Brand Ambassador as well as Sustainability Champion and Social Media Director. We know, it seems like a lot, but she's full of energy. A typical day for Rachel will involve creating social media posts, monitoring and working to improve sustainability efforts, and as time permits, representing SingleSpeed at festivals and events across the state. Rachel's past experience working on the Iowa Green Brewery Certification Project (Iowa Waste Reduction Center) has allowed her the opportunity to gain industry knowledge and establish connections with breweries across the state of Iowa.
She is looking forward to solidifying these existing relationships and to build new ones, while also getting the opportunity to put her Environmental Science degree to work.
What does she do when not working to make SingleSpeed Brewing Co. a better organization? Yoga, cycling, and cooking vegan food top the list.
