Two FRESH beers roll out tonight. Flight APA returns from a break most considered too long. Also, Roasted Batch Two begins pouring this evening. Similar to Batch One, but this time Ecuadorian Cacao Nibs played a role. Good stuff all around
Cheers! - Here is tonight’s list of offerings:
Flight APA - Pub (16 oz) - $4
The Horizon / Falconer’s Flight 7C’s hop additions yield a gentle bitterness and a wallop of citrus. The accompanying four grain malt bill rounds out this easy drinking, flavorful beer.
OG: 1.052, IBU: 45, ABV: 5.9%
Roasted - Pub (16 oz) - $5
A carefully crafted Oatmeal Stout, infused with locally roasted Brazilian coffee, then given an Ecuadorian cacao nib steeping. The result? A cool, creamy bodied beer with nutty, chocolate, and of course “Roasted” notes throughout.
OG: 1.058, IBU: 24, ABV: 5.8%
Tricycle - Pub (16 oz) - $4
Resting upon three wheels pointing in different stylistic directions sits this hybrid of an ale. Wheel #1 spins toward a cream ale, another approaches a wheat, and yet a third rolls near a pale ale. Working together they drive Tricycle to a slightly sweet and citrusy state backed with just enough hop bitterness to remain upright. Ride On!
OG: 1.054, IBU: 30, ABV: 5.9%
Black IPA - Tulip (16 oz) $5
The battle being waged in ones' glass once they muster the courage to order this brew needs just a one word description. Epic. We think that characterizes the beer as well. The dark roasted malts with hints of chocolate and coffee go blow for blow with an assertive American hop profile in search of control of this unique beers flavor. In the end a peaceful resolution emerges in the form of a beautifully crafted Cascadian Dark.
OG: 1.065, IBU: 97, ABV: 7.0%
Quench - Pilsner (14.5 oz) - $4 or Hefeweizen (20 oz) - $5
A crisp, unique and refreshing American-Hefeweizen. Aroma hits heavy on the citrus with pronounced bright and sunny lemon notes. Centennial, Cascade and Palisade hops dance around the clean, mildly malty flavors of American barley and wheat, resulting in a distinctive, yet easy drinking summertime ale. Get Thirsty - Get Quenched - Repeat.
OG: 1.042, IBU: 29, ABV: 4.4%
Tank Six IPA - Tulip (16 oz) - $5
A powerful ale forged to thrill you with hop flavor and aromatics while a mild malt sweetness dances in the background. Distinct citrus, tropical, grapefruit and floral tones greet you. They hang around for a bit, then quietly fade allowing the essential bitter but clean American IPA finish to come forth.
OG: 1.060, IBU: 60, ABV: 6.6%
Belgian Witbier - Pilsner (14.5 oz) - $4 or Hefe (20 oz) - $5
Our fifth effort at an interpretation of the traditional Belgian Wheat style. Brewed with Pilsen malt and healthy doses of both oats and wheat. Spiced with coriander, orange and grapefruit peel before an authentic Belgian yeast strain takes over fermentation.
OG: 1.046, IBU: 18, ABV: 4.9%
